The Department uses data from the National Health Workforce Dataset (NHWDS) and other sources to produce a series of supply and demand studies of medical practitioners, nurses and midwives and other allied health professions called Australia’s Future Health Workforce Reports (AFHW). These AFHW Reports, NHWDS Factsheets and other health workforce publications are available at Publications.
